.With more than 20 years of experience managing large design, imaging and studio groups, Ken helps clients dramatically change the way they produce their marketing with his knowledge of advertising, talent, technology and risk management. He has built his reputation leveraging top talent and technology to optimize and streamline the creative process.
Early on in his career, Ken became a partner in one of the largest creative studios in Los Angeles, serving technology companies, international hoteliers and many top brands.
In 1997, Ken joined Mary Ann Gibson to found Studio 612 – a business designed to seamlessly blend design, image creation and pre-press. As a single-source marketing partner and alternative to the inefficient traditional agencies, Studio 612 differentiated itself, combining high-level talent and cutting-edge technology. In Ken’s four-year tenure, Studio 612 grew to more than $12 million in annual revenue, with four facilities and 110 employees across three states.
As founding partner and development director for the Workhorse Group, Ken’s knowledge of the creative environment and technology needs allowed Workhorse to create easy-to-use software to solve common content creation workflow issues for large advertising and corporate customers. Some of his clients included Lands End, Federated, Quad Graphics, the Metropolitan Museum of Art-NY and JC Penney.
