MOZAIC SUPPORTS NURSES FOR AFRICA MISSION
ST. LOUIS, June 24, 2009
In July of 2009, 16 specially-trained nurses will travel on a mission trip to the Republic of Zambia, in Southern Africa, a land plagued by extreme poverty and a disproportionately high number of HIV/AIDS cases. When Rosewood Care Centers turned to Mozaic to help brand the program, we jumped at the chance.
The nurses hope to help alleviate suffering in one of the world’s populations most affected by HIV/AIDS. Aside from medical aid, the nurses will also provide personal hygiene supplies, education and school supplies throughout the community. In addition, the mission hopes to raise awareness here in the U.S.
Teams from Mozaic worked with Rosewood Care Centers to develop the brand identity and logo, marketing materials and a web site to allow the nurses to post images, video, personal blogs and other details of their trip in real time. The resulting Nursesforafrica.net allows users follow the nurses’ experience in Zambia.
Mozaic companies Mock, Metawerkz and Gramatr contributed to the Nurses for Africa project.
